Blogging From A to Z Challenge – Ethnic Diversity
Some letters are just a whole lot easier than others during this challenge. For the letter “E” I decided to go with Ethnic Diversity focusing on titles with large, diverse casts of characters. Many of these titles are written from multiple perspectives making them really interesting to read. There are also two graphic novels on the list for an alternate format. For a long time I kept saying I didn’t like to read graphic novels and although it’s not my favorite format, the stories are phenomenal and definitely worth checking out!
- Refugee by Alan Gratz
- The Cardboard Kingdom by Chad Sell
Akward series by Svetlana Chmakova- It Wasn’t Me by Dana Alison Levy
- The
Lotterys Plus One by Emma Donoghue - Harbor Me by Jacqueline Woodson
I’m spending the month of April promoting diversity in children and young adult literature as part of the Blogging from A to Z Challenge. Stop by every day for a new list of titles! Also, check out other bloggers who are participating by heading over at the Blogging From A to Z website!
