2019 Blogging A to Z: Theme Reveal
This will be my fourth year participating in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge! And it’s their 10th Anniversary this year, so there is plenty to celebrate. If you haven’t checked out my other themes for the A to Z Challenge:
- 2016 – Storytime Plans
- 2017 – Leadership Traits
- 2018 – Library Programming
This year’s theme came to me pretty quickly, I’m still trying to sort out exactly how I’m going to present it, but I’ve got a few more days!
Drumroll, please….
The 2019 A to Z Challenge Theme on Literacious will be: Diverse Titles. Each letter will focus on a different diverse group of people from around the world and I’ll provide a booklist of titles. I’m keeping this wide open – no set number of titles, no specific age group. Whatever I want to promote will be on the list. My goal is to focus on diversity in a number of different ways – race, religion, culture, socio-economic status, ability and disability, and mental illness to name just a few. I want to create booklists that show kids that they are seen and they are important. I can’t wait to get started! See you on April 1st!
I’ll be spending the month of April participating in my fourth year of the Blogging From A to Z Challenge. This year’s theme is diverse kids and teen books! Stop by every day for a new list of titles! Also, check out other bloggers who are participating by stopping over at the Blogging From A to Z website!
