Slice of Life Day 20: Not Too Hot, Not Too Cold
During the past two days, I’ve had that lovely feeling of when you climb into the car and the inside is all warm and cozy from the sunlight streaming through the windows. I absolutely love that feeling in early spring. It’s still a little chilly outside, but once you climb into the car the warmth just envelopes you like a hug. If I had my way, I’d be sitting out in my car with a book and a tall glass of lemonade or iced tea, something that reminds me of summer.
I know that in a few months, I’ll be complaining about how hot it is outside, but right now, I love those little glimmers that spring has arrived and warmer days are on their way! What’s your favorite sign of spring?
The Slice of Life Challenge is something new I’m trying this month! I’ll be posting brief posts that show a glimpse of my life in story-format. A slice of my life as a librarian and blogger that I hope you enjoy!

The tiny focus of this slice and its sensory details nicely hits the mark. I enjoyed those temperatures right along with you.

Warm rains and freshly cut grass.

This gives me those Spring feels! It isn’t quite here yet in the midwest, but I could almost feel that beautiful cool breeze on my face as I read your Slice! Hopefully it will be for real soon!
