It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 2/4/19
Last Week
I actually read both books I had planned on reading for the week! And I started another one last night as well. I read fast-paced Inkling at the beginning of the week and you can check out my thoughts about it on my review from Saturday. Then I followed that up with The Storm Keeper’s Island by Catherine Doyle which was an adventure fantasy story filled with myth and magic. Check out my review from Sunday. I’m super proud of myself as I’m trying to review most of the the titles I read, rather than just read and mark them on Goodreads.
I also started the first few pages of The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo – I’ve heard so much about it and just hadn’t gotten to read it yet. It was also recognized for a few awards at the ALA Youth Media Awards last week, so I definitely thought I should read it! And so far I’m really loving it!
Reading List for Week of 2/4/19
As for this week, I placed a bunch of things on hold and I requested a bunch of titles through Netgalley and of course they’re all available at the same time, so I’ve got a lot to choose from this week!
