Level Up: Pairing Video Games with Children’s and YA Books (Fortnite)

I spent the summer of 2016 creating booklists that paired with video games. I decided to return to this theme and create a list for Fortnite as I know how popular it is with kids and teens alike!

Fortnite (Teen)

Fortnite is an online video game with three different game modes. The first, Fortnite: Save the World is a cooperative game to save your team against zombie-like husks. The second, Fortnite Battle Royale is by far the most popular game mode and is a last-man standing format and as time progresses your playable space shrinks. And finally, Fortnite Creative which is an open sandbox game mode where players can build and manipulate objects. The booklist below features titles about video games, zombies, and survival situations for middle grade and young adult readers!
