It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 12/31/18
Last Week
I didn’t get a lot of reading between Christmas and New Year’s between celebrating the holiday, my birthday, working, and catching up on sleep. I finally read Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan and although I really enjoyed the movie, the book was much more difficult to get through. Between footnotes describing Singaporean culture and the constant reference to high-end brands, it was a little exhausting to read. I did like the storyline and am glad I finally got a chance to read it.
Reading List for Week of 12/31/18
This week I hope to read Ruby In the Sky by Jeanne Zulick Ferruolo and I also picked up Merci Suárez Changes Gears by Meg Medina which I’ve heard amazing things about, so I can’t wait to see what it’s all about!
