It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 12/10/18
Last Week
I finished up A Problematic Paradox by Eliot Sappingfield and have to say that I absolutely adored it! I’m not a huge science fiction reader, but the writing in the book kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to read more and more! I also loved the comedy in the writing style, often finding myself smiling or laughing out loud. This is a 2018 debut author and I’m excited to see what happens next!
I also cheated and read another title in the Library Lover’s Mystery series – they’re so quick to read I can usually read it in one or two sittings and it’s just so easy and fun! Plus, as a library director, I enjoy reading about someone who knows just how unexpected library work can really be (although I’m glad that I’m not finding dead bodies or participating in police investigations!)
I also started Song for a Whale by Lynn Kelly and I’m already really enjoying this story about a young, deaf girl who is looking to find her voice in her own world and may just help a whale do the same. I’m only a couple chapters in, but loving it already!
