Brian Biggs – Illustrator Spotlight

Today’s featured author/illustrator is Brian Biggs. Brian has illustrated board books, picture books, and chapter books. I absolutely adore his Tinyville Town series! My nephew, who is only 3, has requested all the titles for his own bookshelf! And being a librarian, how can I refuse a child who asks for books! Brian does an amazing job of creating a diverse town filled with characters from all walks of life.

Brian’s illustrations are perfect for the age range from 2 – 8 with characters that look like the kids who are reading them. His chapter books are perfect for kids who have moved past easy readers and are looking for longer titles with the support of illustrations on every few pages.
