Summary: “Did you call for a truck full of ducks?

Join the flock on this wacky call-and-response ride to find out just WHO ordered a truck full of ducks — and why!
Ross Burach’s screwball comedy is filled with surprise twists and crafty jokes that will quack you up!” (Taken from Goodreads)
Review: Someone’s requested a truck full of ducks, but when the directions are eaten accidentally, the driver stops throughout town looking for the person/animal who wanted the ducks! After stopping by an alien, pirate, and a construction worker, they have one last place to look…
Personal Reaction: This was such a fun story! Although I have to warn you this could be a dangerous read aloud when you’re rhyming trucks and ducks, there’s a possibility you may slip and say something you don’t expect! I loved the crazy antics of these silly ducks and kids will ask for repeat readings just so they can catch what each and every duck does throughout the story.

This is a new idea I’m trying on my blog this year that was inspired by @donalynbooks and @heisereads – to provide a brief review of a picture book every day of 2018. You’ll get a brief summary of the story, a review of the content, illustrations and theme, my personal reaction to the book and all the pertinent publication information! Enjoy!
