New School Year, Fresh Start

I love the start of a new school year – I’m no longer in school as after my second graduate degree, my mom suggested that I probably don’t need to go back to school for awhile. But, I love back to school shopping, the crisp fall air that soon follows and the chance at a re-set or fresh start in the middle of the year.

And this year, I’ve got some exciting news… (drumroll, please) the blog is getting a complete overhaul next month! I’m so excited for a new look and feel! I’m not going to give away any details now, as things are still changing, but the demo is looking great and I’m really excited to be reaching a larger audience with the look.

But don’t worry, the blog will continue to focus on children’s literature with a specific focus on reaching librarians, teachers and parents. I’ll also be reaching out more through other areas of social media, so be on a lookout for those options as well. Plus, I’ll be starting a monthly newsletter! It’s going to be a busy September on the blog front!

I may take a break for about a week as we migrate content, but if that happens, I’ll let everyone know and will double up on my Blog Book A Day posts when I go live to catch up… I’m eight months into reviewing a picture book every day, I can’t stop now!
