It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 7/16/18
This past week, my family went down the shore for a family reunion of sorts with almost my entire dad’s side of the family. That means at any given time there were about 15 people in a beach house! And even with two trips back and forth to work for meetings, I was able to read 3 books and start another one!
I grabbed a bunch of YA titles that I’ve been hearing about and just haven’t gotten a chance to read. I was able to read:
- American Panda by Gloria Chao
- A Girl Like That by Tanaz Bhathena
- I Will Always Write Back: How One Letter Changes Two Lives by Caitlin Alifirenka, Martin Ganda with Liz Welch
I also just started The Adventures of a Girl Called Bicycle by Christina Uss. I’ve also got a few books coming in as holds this week at work, so I’m hoping to get a chance to a few of these as well:
- Twilight Chant by Holly Thompson
- The House That Lou Built by Mae Respicio
- The Boy, the Boat, and the Beast by Samantha M. Clark

Your week sounded chaotic yet joyful! I’m looking forward to reading AMERICAN PANDA and TWILIGHT CHANT as well. This weekend I finished CHECKED by Cynthia Kadohata, which I really enjoyed. 😊

I really enjoyed those stories – not usually a fan of short stories, but that collection was amazing!
