#blogbookaday: Don't Blink
Summary: “This interactive book may seem to be on your side, reluctant sleeper — but it’s truly a bedtime book in disguise!
Here’s how it works: if you can avoid getting to the end of this book, you can avoid bedtime, simple as that. (It’s a pretty sweet deal, actually.) But each time you blink, you have to turn a page. Those are just the rules. So whatever you do, DON’T BLINK!” (Taken from Goodreads)
Review: Try not to blink as you read through this book, but if you do, you’ll have to turn the page and everyone knows at the end of the story you have to go to bed. This little owl tries everything to prevent the reader from blinking – from staring to squinting, but in the end it’s too much!
Personal Reaction: A different take on the interactive story, I thought the bedtime theme was a perfect way to end the day with snuggles, giggles and hopefully everyone ends up asleep!

This is a new idea I’m trying on my blog this year that was inspired by @donalynbooks and @heisereads – to provide a brief review of a picture book every day of 2018. You’ll get a brief summary of the story, a review of the content, illustrations and theme, my personal reaction to the book and all the pertinent publication information! Enjoy!
