It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 6/3/18
It’s been a busy week – spending time with my family for Memorial Day, then a few short days at work and then heading to Florida to see a friend and her family for a long weekend! But through it all, I’ve actually spent a good amount of time reading (that’s what happens when your flight’s delayed!).
Last week, I’ve finished The Breakout by Kate Messner and read The Jigsaw Jungle by Kristin Levine, Counting to Perfect by Suzanne LaFleur, The Benefits of Being an Octopus by Anne Braden and I’m in the middle of Property of the Rebel Librarian by Allison Vames. I was able to get my (very) ancient Nook up and running and download a few eARCs to read, making my bag much lighter for the flight.
This week, I’ve got The Frame-Up by Wendy MacKnight and who knows what else! I’m hoping to read Marcus Vega Doesn’t Speak Spanish by Pablo Cartaya, and The Boy, the Bird, and the Coffin Maker by Matilda Woods. I’m almost finished with the ARCs I picked up at PLA, which feels good and means I can go scavenging for more new books on NetGalley and Edelweiss!
