Top Ten Tuesday: Books for My Brother

ben's books.png
This week is a FREEBIE week for Top Ten Tuesday, so with my brother’s birthday today, I decided to create a top ten list just for him. Growing up, my brother wasn’t much of a book reader, but he loved sports statistics and could rattle off stats for pretty much any baseball player for years. As he’s gotten older, he’s found some books that he loves and loves to read to his kids (my adorable nephew and niece)! So with the little time he has for himself, this is a list of books that I think he’d enjoy. Happy Birthday!

  1. Dad Is Fat by Jim Gaffigan
  2. The Unlikely Hero of Room 13B by Theresa Totten
  3. Outcasts United: A Refugee Team, an American Town by Warren St. John
  4. Turtles All the Way Down by John Green
  5. Soccernomics: Why England Loses, Why Spain, Germany, and Brazil Win, and Why the U.S., Japan, Australia–and Even Iraq–Are Destined to Become the Kings of the World’s Most Popular Sport by Simon Kuper and Stefan Szymanski
  6. Compulsion by Heidi Ayarbe
  7. Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds
  8. Now Is the Time for Running by Michael Williams
  9. The You I’ve Never Known by Ellen Hopkins
  10. If You Feel Too Much: Thoughts on Things Found and Lost and Hoped For by Jamie Tworkowski
