Review: An adorable and hilarious story of a little boy trying to get to a party and going through a lot of work to get there! Although the main character is a little boy, the rest of his world is peopled animaled with a wide variety of anthropomorphic animals is some amazing outfits and some great names for the characters as well! The main character does his best, but in the end loses his temper at all the ridiculous rules he must follow and soon realizes his mistake!

Personal Reaction: I’m working on creating a lesson plan for a parachute storytime I’m planning for next week and I thought hats would be a fun theme and I remembered I had just brought this book home with me to review, so now that I’ve had a chance to read it, I think this will make a perfect story for a storytime (especially if you really get into character)!
