A scared little mouse gets gobbled up by a wolf, only to find a friend in the wolf’s belly. The hunter (wolf) soon becomes the hunted and with unexpected help, the animals work together to save each other! Personal Reaction: I love Klassen and Barnett’s work both independently and together and I’ll be honest, I was not expecting this story and how it flowed, but it felt like an old story, similar to old fables and folklore with a lesson at at the end of it that brings it all together. Of course, when Barnett is writing the story, you’re bound to chuckle, if not laugh out loud and it only gets better with Klassen’s artwork! This is an unpredictable story that is so fun to read!
