It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 12/18/17

It’s the week before Christmas, I’m trying to tie up loose ends at work, pack for the holiday and make sure everything is ready for the holidays and I’m still trying to read as much as I can during the week.
This past week I read:

  • The Epic Fail of Arturo Zamora by Pablo Cartaya
  • The Harlem Charade by Natasha Anastasia Tarpley
  • Pashmina by Nidhi Chanani

And I’m currently in the middle of The Gauntlet by Karuna Riazi -it’s so fast-paced, I’m having a hard time putting it down to even write this post right now!
I’m hoping to dive into the pile on my desk this week which includes:

  • The Shadow Cipher by Laura Ruby
  • Speed of Life by Carol Weston
  • The Wonderling by Mira Bartok

A couple of these titles are pretty dense, so I plan on taking them home with me over the holidays and sneaking away for a little bit each day to read a little bit!
If anyone’s got any 5-ish hour middle grade audiobooks that are too good to pass up, let me know – I’ve got to drive out to my parents’ house on Thursday and need something to keep me entertained. And if not an audiobook, I usually download a bunch of episodes from my favorite podcasts to listen to… yep ,all about kid’s lit! I live, breathe and eat this stuff up!
