Picture Book Month: Monkeys
I grabbed the book Tall by Jez Alborough and then I opened it up and realized that the character was in fact a chimpanzee, not a monkey. But, then I remembered Warning: Do Not Open This Book! by Adam Lehrhaupt and Matthew Forsythe and all was right with the world. This story is very interactive with a narrator, who at times, is very bossy, but as the reader continues turning pages, the narrator directs the reader to create a plan to trap all the monkeys (and toucans and the alligator) back inside the story. But, are you brave enough to set the trap? Read this giggle-inducing story to find out!
