Before I let another day go by, I want everyone to know that it’s Children’s Book Week from May 1-7! This week celebrates children’s books and reading and has been since 1919. It is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country, which in my opinion, makes this a pretty awesome thing! The celebration is administered by Every Child a Reader and the Children’s Book Council is a sponsor.
