It’ Monday! What Are You Reading? 9/12/16

I actually got a lot of reading done this past week, I was not only exhausted from a week at my parents’ house for my brother’s wedding – it was beautiful, but I am still working as a children’s librarian and trying to get my feet under me as a director as well – it’s been a little crazy to say the least.  But, I made reading more of a priority this week and I feel so much better because of it.

I finished up As Brave As You, also read Just Like Me and Frightlopedia – An Encyclopedia of Everything Scary, Creepy, and Spine-Chilling, from Arachnids to Zombies which I received from Workman Publishing along with a few other titles to review for the Halloween season, so you’ll definitely be hearing about these books soon!

As for what I’m reading now – I’m still working on Start with Why which I honestly haven’t picked up in probably two weeks – so I’ll definitely be working my way through that book.  I’ve also started Fearsome Creatures of the Lumberwoods: Twenty Chilling Tales from the Wilderness, another title from Workman that’s a lot of fun to read.  And I’ve got a couple of other things in my TBR pile that I might pick up.  I’m feeling so much (for lack of a better word) steadier now that reading is back at the top of my priority list.  I get more easily stressed out, more frustrated and annoyed if I don’t spend even just 10 minutes reading daily.  It’s something that I have to do, just got to find the time!

I just finished the War that Saved my Life and LOVED it. In the middle of both Pax and the Wild Robot right now. I’m so glad I decided to give audiobooks another chance because I’m getting through so many more books that way!
