It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 3/7/16

This week I read Jackaby by William Ritter, which I absolutely LOVED!  The book is described as a cross between Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Who – which I can definitely see.  I loved the mix of mystery and fantastical elements and I’m really looking forward to the next in the series.
I also read a few picture books – A Big Surprise for Little Card by Charise Mericle Harper which I think is absolutely adorable, Pepper and Poe by Frann Preston-Gannon a cute little story about two cats that learn to be friends, and The Red Hat by David Teague a beautifully illustrated story about a red hat.
And I’m still working on this list from the last few weeks:

  • The League of Seven by Alan Gratz
  • Alistair Grim’s Odditorium by Gregory Funaro
  • The Night Parade by Kathryn Tanquary
  • I Don’t How the Story Ends by J.B. Cheaney
  • Zombie Baseball Beatdown by Paolo Bacigalupi
  • Soar by Joan Bauer
