Family Storytime Theme: Colorful Chameleons
This storytime was awesome! I enjoy my Saturday crowds because they are a lot of families that I don’t see during the week and are usually very into participating. The kids LOVED the fish song and (once they figured it out) the “Mmm Ahh” song too! They were also captivated by my retelling of A Color of His Own using a “folder” story, but mainly just printing images on 8.5 x 11″ pages and telling the story without using the book.
The kids were also extremely interested in looking at the pictures in the National Geographic Little Kids magazine. And if anyone had any doubts… Jbrary is AMAZING! I swear, every song that I use from them is an instant hit! Thank you for such awesome resources!!!
