Family Storytime Theme: Color Red

Family Storytime Theme: Color Red

Storytime went pretty well today!  The kids definitely got Red by Michael Hall.  I made sure to talk about it a little bit before we started and the older kids picked up on the fact that the crayon itself was blue, but it’s wrapper was red.

We talked about what we knew about dragons before reading Dragon Dancing and it was exciting to hear all about dragons including a matter-of-fact little boy say, “There are boy dragons and girl dragons.”  Who can argue with that?  And the kids that Dinosaur Kisses was hysterical!  They were laughing so hard at little Dinah’s attempts at kissing.
