Bout of Books
It’s a new year and I’m ready for some new challenges! So, that being said, I’m going to jump right in! I’m participating in the Bout of Books 15 from January 4 – January 10.
As of right now, I’m just trying to get myself signed-up and participate in the Twitter chats and get some reading done, other than that I’m not going to stress myself out too much with goals for this round.
So here it goes, introduce myself in 6 words or less:
Reader, Librarian, Blogger, Chef, Wannabe Crafter.
Now, to start reading…

Villain Mash-Up
I was intrigued by the popularity of The Descendants so I just read the book and watched the Disney movie, which is why Maleficent is on my mind. And I would pit her against the villain in The Jumbies by Tracey Baptiste, Severine. Both are magical and evil and would make for an amazing fight!

Sarah @ Flood of Books, etc.
You are doing awesome! I liked Isle of the Lost, but I have yet to watch The Descendants. I haven’t read The Jumbies, but the cover looks good and creepy. Hope you had another good reading day!

Thanks Sarah! I heard Tracey Baptiste speak at a conference and The Jumbies was wonderfully magical and creepy! My reading is going really well, it’s pretty easy going with easy readers and early chapter books, but I’m getting through a lot of books that have been on my TBR for quite awhile. Happy Reading!
