Flannel Friday: The Acorn Song

28 Aug

11911825_10100733802326526_405108303_nI just came across this adorable acorn song from Jbrary (who else?) and I’m so excited to use during my storytime this fall.  I had a few minutes (and just the right felt and puffy paint) to make an adorable acorn for our flannelboard when we sing this song.  And he came out so cute… if I do say so myself!

The Acorn Song

I’m an acorn small and round
lying on the cold, cold, ground
people always step on me
that is why I’m cracked you see
I’m a nut (clack, clack)
I’m a nut (clack, clack)
I’m a nut, I’m a nut, I’m a nut (clack, clack)
