It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
I started off the week with a light read called, Clayton Stone, At Your Service which was a fun, adventure story about a young boy who finds out his family works for the secret service. It’s not necessarily an earth-shattering story, but a quick story, perfect for a reluctant reader. The next book I read was a much deeper story called Young Man With A Camera, a story about the power of photography and friendship. A story about the very serious issue of bullying and about how to deal with it. I als read A.S. King’s new novel, I Crawl Through It, about teens who are at the end of their rope and aren’t quite sure where to turn. It’s an extremely powerful, surreal journey. I just started reading The Murdstone Trilogy which I hope to finish up soon.
The rest of the week I plan on reading:
- The Taken by Inbali Iserles
- The Sheunken Head by Lauren Oliver
- Currents by Jane Petrlik Smolik
