It's Monday, What Are You Reading? 6/22/2015
After 20 solid hours of reading for this year’s 48 Hour Book Challenge, I’m thinking that I’ll be taking it easy this week with my reading, maybe picking up a book or two, but not as many as I usually do. Over the weekend, I knocked out nine books and just read through three picture books for storytime this afternoon.
- Cartwheeling In Thunderstorms by Katherine Rundell
- The Question of Miracles by Elana K. Arnold
- George by Alex Gino
- The Shadow Hero by Gene Luen Yang
- The Scandalous Sisterhood of Prickwillow Place by Julie Berry
- Paper Things by Jennifer Richard Jacobson
- The Paper Cowboy by Kristin Levine
- Honor Girl by Maggie Thrash
- Uprooted by Lynne Reid Banks
I’ll most likely be grabbing a few books from my BEA ARCS – The Thing About Jellyfish by Ali Benjamin and Rules for Stealing Stars by Ann Corey Haydu are two that I’ve been wanting to read.

I’m finishing I Am Malala, and then I think I’m going to read Orbiting Jupiter by Gary Schmidt – the rep warned that it would make me cry so I’ve been holding off, but I really want to read it! At PALS they also recommended a book on leadership called “Start with Why,” so I’m going to read that as well.

I love leadership books (although I rarely get a chance to read them) but I’m going to add “Start with Why” on my list!
