10th Annual 48 Hour Book Challenge
This is going to my first year challenging myself to read as much as I can during the next 48-hours. Of course, I’ve got graduation parties, babysitting and a few other things that will get in the way a little bit, but I’m going to try and read for 12 hours (hopefully more if possible!).
This challenge was created by Mother Reader as a way for book bloggers to get in as much reading as possible before the annual ALA conference. Although, I’m not making it to ALA this summer (the curse of being a children’s librarian), I’m excited to be a part of this fun challenge. I’ve got a bunch of books ready to go – some that have been on my Goodreads “To-Read” list for a while and others that I’ve picked up at BEA that will be published later this year. After reading over the guidelines, I’ve also picked up a audio book for car trips and while I’m making dinner.
Not only does reading count, but you also need to be writing up reviews of what you’ve read and can connect and network with other book bloggers during the 48 hours as well. I’m excited to get started and can’t wait to see how much I can get read!

Hello! At least you got to BEA! I’m going to try to hit ALA Midwinter even though I’ll have to miss some school. Piper Green was a fun book’ and I was glad to see the Palacio short stories In a collection. If you need any middle grade suggestions, I have almost ten years of reviews over at my blog!
