It's Monday, What Are You Reading? 6/1/2015

2371940523566909Last week was madness as Memorial Day was Monday, I worked Tuesday and Wednesday, went up to BookExpo America on Thursday and traveled to an out-of-state wedding Friday-Sunday.  Thankfully, sitting in airports and on airplanes leaves me with a lot of time to read!
I read The Honest Truth by Dan Gemeinhart, The Clockwork Scarab: A Stoker & Holmes by Colleen Gleason, When Mischief Came to Town by Katrina Nannestad (a new book from BEA!), and Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen.  It was a good book week, I enjoyed all of them in different ways, but all were well worth the read!
This week, I’m going to finally get to The Detective’s Assistant by Kate Hannigan and Palace of Lies by Margaret Peterson Haddix and quite possibly another new book from BEA.  I also need to finish the ARC of Marvels, which is Brian Selznick’s newest book due out September 15th.  Currently my books from BEA are sitting in piles in my spare room, patiently waiting for me take a closer look and figure out a plan of attack.  Once I’m finished reading these, I usually donate them as prizes to my own library or to teacher friends or friends who I know will absolutely love them.
