Toddler Storytime - Baby Theme – Literacious
I don’t think I did it on purpose, but all my books this were were about babies! Both of my storytime groups were fairly small today – 10 kids. But for the most part, the kids really enjoyed the stories and loved the teddy bear song from the wiggles. I thought Hug ended up being very difficult to read aloud, but did a lot better the second time around doing more explaining about the book to get the kids interested. Even in a book as simple as that, I was able to make interactive making binoculars with our hands to search for Bobo’s mother. I’ve got one more week of storytime and then have a little bit of a break as we gear up for our summer reading program – I’m ready for the break, but have already started looking for books for the summer session!
