Toddler Storytime: Miss Laura's Favorites #2

411414I had a great storytime this morning!  We had so much fun with all of our stories and music!  Between this new group of storytime families and doing books and music I love, I can see a complete change from last fall to this session.  We yelled out colors with Wow! Said the Owl, we stood up and participated throughout Will You Carry Me? and the adults got a chuckle out of I Ain’t Gonna Paint No More and the kids thought it was so funny.  And the “Rock and Roll Freeze Dance” worked perfectly with “Everyone Can March.”  I’m going to grab a quick lunch and get back before my next storytime at 1:00pm!  Parachute, here we come!
Opening: “Put Your Hands Up In the Air”
Puppet Meet & Greet: Meet Woolly (monkey puppet)

Early Literacy Tip: Extend learning by re-creating storytime moments during everyday life… if your child is too tired to walk, try the tricks mom used in Will You Carry Me?
