Story Time Theme: Blue

hysmnbs1Following in last week’s footsteps, this week’s theme is the color BLUE!  Although I had a much smaller crowd this week, we had a great time learning about the color blue.  I still haven’t gotten a chance to use my nursery rhyme cube, but we were able to get through all of our stories this week in a good amount of time.  Yoga story time was especially fun as I pointed out to parents that what we’re doing is for fun and not for perfection.  I’m now thinking that I might try a special yoga program for “partner yoga” with parents and children together… wish me luck!  Next week’s theme: GREEN!
