Rain, Rain Go Away…

Although, I like having a day where  my story time theme (rain) matches the weather outside, this is a little too much weather for me!  It’s been raining heavily all day long with dreary gray skies which in turn makes for a very quiet library.  It wouldn’t be a problem, because I normally can get a lot done on days like this, but my programs have been suffering today!

For my yoga story time where I normally see between 20 – 25 kids, I only have 5 kids – 5 crazy, silly kids who are tired of being cooped up.  It was more difficult to do story time with these five than the normal 22!  And tonight we have our big spring play that my middle schoolers have been working on for over 6 weeks and with a few roads being flooded in the area, I’m just hoping some families brave the weather to attend!  Librarian problems at their finest…
