2012 Nerdies Book Awards

If you don’t follow The Nerdy Book Club blog, you are definitely missing out!  The blog is written by three school teachers from different schools across the country and blog book reviews and other information about children’s books.  They specifically have created their own awards called The Nerdies Book Awards where books are nominated for seven different categories and the awards are presented at the end of the year.  The seven categories are Picture Books – Fiction, Picture Books – Nonfiction Books, Early Reader/ Chapter Books, Graphic Novels, Poetry, Middle Grade and Young Adult Nonfiction, Middle Grade Fiction, and Young Adult Fiction.  

This blog is a great place to start when looking for suggestions for a variety of ages and interests.  Take a look around The Nerdy Book Club blog – you won’t be disappointed, and the next time I’ll be posting, it will be 2013!  Have a safe and happy New Year’s celebration!
