The Great Sheep Shenanigans

The Great Sheep Shenanigans written by Peter Bently and illustrated by Mei Matsuoka is a laugh out loud story that kids and parents will both enjoy!  A sneaky wolf, named Lou Pine (aka lupine) decided that he wanted a lamb for dinner in the worst way.  After meeting Rambo the Ram, Lou goes back to the drawing board to figure out a clever way to get into the pasture to find a nice, juicy lamb for dinner.  Between the great use of language and rhyme and rhythm and the hysterical illustrations, I thoroughly enjoyed this story.  It’s perfect for a preschool audience, even if you need to explain a little bit of the language – children are sure to understand the pictures just fine.
