It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 6/18/18

I’ve had a busy week filled with all sorts of things, plus trying to get the guest room painted (which is always more work than I expect it to be!). I’m absolutely in love with the color and hope my vision comes out the way I want it to when I’m all finished.

But, on to my reading for the week – not as much as I had hoped, but still some quality books. I finished Marcus Vega Doesn’t Speak Spanish by Pablo Cartaya and read The Frame-Up by Wendy McLeod MacKnight, which was right up ally as it was compared to Night at the Museum and Chasing Vermeer by Blue Baillett. I love art/museum books and with a little twist is absolutely perfect.

I’m hoping to get to both The Boy, the Bird, and the Coffin Maker by Matilda Woods (which is under 200 pages) and The Train to Impossible Places: A Cursed Delivery by P. G. Bell. I’d love to get my hands on a copy of Akata Witch by Nnedi Okorafor which I’ve heard is absolutely amazing (plus the sequel came out which means I can read it right afterward).
